Application forms should be completed and sent before April 30th , 2012.

The school will be held at the campus of the University of Oran (Campus II, P.M.S Taleb (Ex. IGMO)).

The "Laboratoire de Physique Théorique d'Oran" (LPTO) is organizing its third School, to be held from 29 May to 03 June, 2012 at the University of Oran, Algeria.

The aim of this meeting is the initiation to current techniques in computing used in High-Energy Physics (phenomenology, detection processes, experimental data analysis…) as well as the use of computational grids related to the activities at the LHC (Large Hadron Collider- CERN).

The program will include theoretical lectures, practical tutorials and two conferences on the current activities at the LHC focusing on obtained and/or awaited results. The PhD students working in these topics will have the opportunity to present their work in poster sessions.

This School is intended to researchers and PhD students in particle physics (theoretical or experimental).

The number of participants is limited to 45.
